The new generation of Garatéa-E

Kurumim 2026

The Kurumim Mission is the educational branch of Zenith, aimed at promoting and spreading aerospace science and engineering through technical and scientific experiments launched on the group's stratospheric balloons.

The stratospheric environment, due to its environmental characteristics, is ideal for emulating space conditions, with extreme radiation, temperature, pressure, and altitude, making it an excellent testing ground.

Our proposal is to encourage the development of scientific experiments by students from all over Latin America across a wide range of knowledge areas, inspiring them to pursue science and engineering.

Lunar Mysteries and the Future of Space Travel

This edition focuses on the exploration of the Moon and space travel. Under the official title Kurumim Mission: Lunar Mysteries and the Future of Space Travel, the proposal invites participants to explore the challenges and possibilities of human and technological presence in space.

The main focus is the Moon, but the theme is not limited to it. The idea is to encourage creativity and the development of diverse projects, such as environmental monitoring experiments, studies on species adaptation to space, research on materials and sensors, among many other possibilities.

What matters most is that the project has an aerospace focus and connects with the proposed theme, while valuing original, scientific, and creative solutions.

Aerospace Saturday

The Aerospace Saturday is a project that promotes science outreach with a focus on the aerospace field for the entire community.

The event features lectures, interactive activities, and exhibitions from several outreach groups spread throughout the whole day.

On this day of celebration of science, the Kurumim projects will also be presented, along with the launch of the projects registered for the stratospheric flight.

Looking forward to participating?

The Kurumim Mission Call for Proposals is now live, and you can already register. Be sure to read the call for all the information on how to apply and more details about project development.

This year, we will have formats for launching small open experiments, as well as for launching complete satellites. Sign up!
